£39.00

EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP '96 "KEVIN KEEGAN" Royal Mint Issue Silver Medal.

Kevin Keegan was born in Doncaster on 15th February 1951, and made his professional debut for Scunthorpe in 1968. He was a naturally talented and gifted player, whose prolific goal scoring made him so highly rated that by 1971 he joined Liverpool for the then massive fee of £35,000. He was selected to play for England team in November 1972, and by 1976 was its mature and stable captain. He played with distinction for his country until a back injury forced him from the international scene in 1982, the year in which he was also honoured with a OBE for services to football.
