To celebrate the fortieth anniversary of this momentous occasion, the Government of Seychelles has authorised the Royal Mint to strike a limited number of silver Proof commemorative crowns. The reverse of this exquisite coin, modelled in the Royal Mint Engraving Department, show the Queen seated within the Gold State Coach. The obverse bears the Seychelles Coat of Arms. This 25-Rupees coin is struck in sterling (.925) silver superb Proof finish. It weighs 31.47 grams, measures 38.61 mm in diameter and a maximum of 10,000 pieces will be struck.
