The US Mint certifies this 18-coin set contains Proof coins. Each coin bears the "S" mint mark of the US Mint at San Francisco. This collection is distinguished by the dime, half-dollar and six quarters, produced in lustrous 90% silver.
The 2009 US Mint Silver Proof Set includes six quarter-dollar coins honouring the District of Columbia and the five U.S. Territories the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
