1992 Commemorative Silver 'Manitoba' 25 Cents.

Struck in 92.5% Silver, diameter 23.88 mm, weight 6.00 g

Designed by Muriel E. Hope, the coin depicts the Southwest Bastion of Lower Fort Garry and part of its surrounding wall. The fort was established by the Hudson's Bay Company as an administrative center to replace the original Fort Garry, severely damaged by the flood of 1826. The fort was subsequently donated to Canada and become a National Historic Park in 1951.
