1992 Commemorative Silver 'Alberta' 25 Cents.

Struck in 92.5% Silver, diameter 23.88 mm, weight 6.00 g

Designed by Mel Heath, the coin depicts the impressive and dramatic Hoodoos in the badlands, near Drumbeller. These columns of sandstone, naturally carved by erosion, are often crowned by cap-rocks which protect the lower units. These pillars range from a few centimetres to several metres in beight.
