1992 United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Collection is particularly attractive as it features two new coins, a fifty pence piece, to honour Britain's entry into the European Economic Community in 1973. The reverse design looks at a conference table seen from above, with twelve chairs for the Council of Ministers and showing the United Kingdom at the head in the role of President with twelve stars, representing the member countries. The new smaller version of the ten pence is designed to take the place of the old ten pence, and also the florin, which remained in circulation after the introduction of Britain's decimal currency.
