United Kingdom, One Pound 1987 Royal Mint Folder, Brilliant Uncirculated. 'Representing England with an Oak Tree. The reverse of the 1987 one pound coin shows an oak tree encircled by the Royal Diadem. The design is the work of silversmith Leslie Durbin. The obverse features the Raphael effigy of Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On the edge of the coin appears the Latin inscription DECUS ET TUTAMEN, meaning 'an ornament and a safeguard'. The Llantrisant mintmark, a crosslet, is also featured. Diameter: 22.5mm Weight: 9.5g Alloy: Nickel-Brass. GRADE: Choice Uncirculated as issued by the Royal Mint.
