The set includes a £5 coin celebrating the 90th birthday of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and two £2 coins - one marking 400 years since the publication of the King James Bible and the other recalling the launch of the Mary Rose. Two more £1 coins continue the new series of four honouring the four capital cities of the UK - the 2011 coins celebrating Edinburgh and Cardiff - while a commemorative 50p coin marks the 50th Anniversary of WWF. All obverses bear the portrait of the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS.
