In 1951 to celebrate the Festival of Britain held on the South-bank in London, the Royal Mint struck a Limited Issue George VI Proof 10 Coin Collection.

The collection comprises the 5 Shillings Crown, Half crown, Florin, English and Scottish Shillings, Sixpence, Threepence, Penny, Halfpenny and Farthing.
All the coins in the collection bear, on the obverse, the Bear Head Portrait of George VI.
