2006 1oz Silver Britannia
The £2 Britannia coin dated 2006 contains an ounce of 958/1000 "Britannia Silver and is purer than Sterling Silver. The coin has been struck and issued by the Royal Mint.
The obverse bears the profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1952-2022 sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, while the obverse reverts to Philip Nathan's original design of 1987 which shows the standing figure of Britannia, wearing a Grecian helmet, with her hair and gown flowing freely in the wind.
