The coins in this 1994 collection, including a commemorative coin of Lisbon 94, are of Brilliant Uncirculated quality (BU), with an issue limit of just 20,000 sets, and have been specially struck from polished dies and packed in this presentation folder by the Portuguese State Mint.
The new circulating coins were designed by the Portuguese sculptors Isabel Carrico e Fernando Branco (200 escudos). Jose Candido (100 escudos), Euclides Vaz (20 and 50 escudos) and Mr. Helder Batista (1,5 and 10 escudos).
