INVESTITURE OF THE PRINCE OF WALES 25TH ANNIVERSARY 1969 - 1994. The medal, designed by Michael Rizzello, bears a cameo portrait of The Prince of Wales on the obverse.
On the reverse is "The Prince of Wales's Feathers" - the badge of the heir apparent - with the motto "Ich Dien" (I serve) which was taken from the arms of the King of Bohemia by Edward Prince of Wales (The Black Prince) after the battle of Crecy.
